A sharp increase in the price of gold


KARACHI: The price of gold at the national level has reached the highest level in history after a sharp increase.

According to the report of the All Pakistan Supreme Council Jewelers Association, one tola of gold has become expensive by Rs 3050 in domestic exchange markets during a week due to which gold per tola has increased from Rs 1 lakh 69 thousand 650 to Rs 1 lakh 72 thousand 700.

On the other hand, with a significant increase of 614 rupees, the price of 10 grams of gold increased from 1 lakh 45 thousand 448 rupees to 1 lakh 48 thousand 62 rupees, while the price of gold per ounce decreased from 1794 dollars to 1793 dollars due to the decrease of 1 dollar in the global bullion market during the period under review.

According to the report, on Saturday, one tola of gold became expensive by 11 dollars in the international market, while one tola of gold became expensive by 800 rupees and 10 grams of gold by 686 rupees in domestic bullion markets.
